Keeping Sundays for rest, not shopping or working or anything, has been part of my religious tradition since I was a kid, and it honestly makes such a huge difference.
Here in Bavaria, Sundays are really very much a day of rest. No one can be seen to be working on their homes or gardens and all shopping is closed except for places of leisure. Was quite a weird adjustment coming from ‘always on’ London, but i’ve come to really appreciate it. I love that you are going to be intentional about work free Sundays - i’ll join you with that!
sounds like an amazing place! the way i get myself to commit is by writing, I'm writing in my journal... I call it 52 Sundays ... knowing I'm going to write about it makes me more present!
I would get back to painting. Taking quality time to sketch and paint. And most importantly, create more books, more intentionally and with more of my illustrations at hand. Take it seriously and build from there!

Same same!

A really new start for sure, I think. Thank you and a good day to you, Adam.
Sundays for rest sounds so good, I might join!
would love to hear how it goes!
I once heard it said, that we should work from a place of rest, and not for rest.
