I walked on grass, took a look around, the weather was nice, and it was nice to be outside and notice things, washed my feet and came back in, I’m looking forward to doing it again tomorrow!
This is undeniably soothing, and there's a reason for it. It's also called "earthing" and it lets all the electicity stored in your body from devices and other things drain into the earth. Not the electricity your body generates itself, but alien electricity. I would so love to do it every day, but it's still barely above freezing here and there's snow on the ground, and it wouldn't be pleasant at all.
I love this idea. A literal grounding yourself. My grass at home is dry and prickly right now so I instead copied my cat’s approach and stood in a dust bath spot in the sun while they rolled around in the dust at my feet.
I've been in the garden quite a bit over the past few weeks as the weather in the UK has been lovely. Its definitely had a good impact on me emotionally and physically as well. Which for someone with physical issues is a big deal. I finished a drawing today and tied up a flopping climbing rose plant 👌

One of the things I love is walking through puddles and mud barefoot. Sun-drenched dust is very soothing too.
No need for frostbite, Virginia. Stay cozy until the thaw.
This is the winter with no end. I can barely imagine what thaw looks like.
That sounds metaphorical for life right now.
Don't I know it.

Thanks for sharing, Adam. I hope it works for people.
