Become a Ten Minute Artist.
Part 5 of 5 of : FIVE ways to fit art into your daily routine
“The key to building lasting habits is focusing on creating a new identity first. Your current behaviours are simply a reflection of your current identity. ” -James Clear
You might have guessed it, but the fifth way to fit art into your daily routine is to become a Ten Minute Artist.
Take on the identity and the habits will follow
Now that can mean a lot of things, it could just mean that you become the kind of persons who prioritises spending 10 minutes to make art for yourself daily. Just calling yourself a Ten Minute Artist will free you of so much pressure.
Pressure to make something amazing or pressure to find 5 hours or an entire weekend to work on a piece. Soon you’ll be able to do significant work in this tiny time frame.
Ten minutes is a pretty significant chunk of time if you go all in into it.
And hey you can always go over, but you can also always stop.
