AI causes more damage than good to any creative pursuit. Grammerly was always causing me to second guess myself. Typos are human! You don't need AI. :)

Have I told you how much I love your little illustrations in these newsletters/posts/(what the heck do we call these things?)? I have seven or eight to do lists with something along the lines of 'make some cool little black and white illustrations in my style - like Adam does! - for my substacks', or 'make mini Adam-style illos for Substacks' etc. One day, I will actually tick that task off the list. 😊

It’s my 100 day project, I’ve put it off for years! 🤓

Awww cool! I need to figure out how to out mini illos in my newsletter. Do you literally type the text and add an image & upload it as one file?

I use typeshere, for the text and sharing, there is a linin in the post somewhere, and I add the illo as a png.

Interesting post. I didn’t get the AI-vibe from your original prompt (so surprised it was), but I could see how it lacked specificity & some of the leaps in ideas could be interpreted that way. The rewrite about adding a more personal touch of lying down & looking at the clouds connected the prompt to the heart. That was a stronger revision. Thanks for sharing this one!

Oh it wasn’t the prompt it was an email about the creative challenges, you might not have gotten the robotic one :)

I laughed at this story, Adam. Sometimes I look at something I wrote a while back and think "How could I write such drivel?" And other times I think it's pretty good. Most of what you write is pretty good, but I guess everyone has drivel days. And practice is all about improving until your good days today become the drivel days of the future. I'm very interested in your creative challenges. It's all about levelling up.
