I’m taking my time to write my morning pages.
Followed by my 2 crappy pages.
Followed by 10 minutes of sketching, each flows into the next.
I’m adding a rule, no using the phone until these things are done.
Do you have a no phone rule for anything?
ps: In my crappy pages today a couple of characters and a concept emerged, maybe even a scene and an adventure, of sorts.

I'm trying to use my phone a lot less in general, especially social media. I found an app called Minimalist Phone Launcher that minimises the visual triggers to get distracted by your phone. I'm also sticking to using the browser for social media rather than apps, it's a bit more clunky and less user friendly which makes me less likely to get stuck scrolling
Hi Adam. I am enjoying your blog posts immensely and deriving much inspiration from them. I have a no phone rule when I hunker down to watch a movie. I want to be immersed utterly in that experience.
