Loved reading through this eclectic connection Adam! Thanks for the mention and it’s just so so brilliant to hear from other creatives! How far is your studio from your home? I’m an early bird in summer too - I’ve been in my sofa office a few times at 4.30am so far this summer... 🌞✨💌🐢

Heh - thanks for the mention of my VR workouts; so great to read what other creatives said as well. I should point out that the REASON I don't do biking or running anymore is for health-safety reasons. We used to live along the lakeshore, so biking was fun and safe. Now we live in an area where there is a LOT of busy Toronto traffic, so I walk outside instead. And the reason I don't run anymore - I start experiencing knee issues, and didn't want to make them worse. re: your comment about feeling old - BWAHAHAHAHA. I'm 61, so I suspect I'm older than you. :-) Great round-up, by the way!

Your half my life older than me and yet you’ve still managed to make me feel old, and that is inspiring :) Thank You for all the addend context!

I remembered a flow state! I made an online zine called “Dead Time” a few years ago in collaboration with a group of artists and poets from Ariana Reines’ Invisible College. You know what it felt like? The infatuation stage of a new romantic relationship!

DO you think a flow stage is something that can be engineered? What are the ingredients?

Are we talking about engineering from a testing/iterating perspective? Then yes. But if we're talking about it from a manufacturing perspective, no. However, I think a flow state can be encouraged when the right conditions are identified and then put into place.

Ah brilliant!! Love how this has come together and thank you for the mentions!! I love the idea that my dogs are my accountability buddies for my daily walks - there would always be reasons not to go if not for them! 🤩 great treasure trove of perspectives
