Love this! (I wish there was a way to "restack" images like we can quotes.) Substack has really brought me back to this idea of evergreen versus ephemeral. It's nice to have a platform that supports archiving work.
I think they may have changed the settings to not allow it as the images will likely be copyrighted so shouldn’t be reused without permission. It used to be possible to click on them and save them to your camera roll from the app but not anymore
Ah yes. I hadn't tried it until Adam suggested it above. Maybe they will add the Restack images option. It seems like they are always rolling out new features here.

Feel free to download and share the images anywhere:)
I restacked my favourite quote with the image!
Yes, I’ve thought that too Sarah, I think it’s a shame not to be able to restack our favourite quote along with our favourite image 💛
Maybe they will add that! I noticed it's also hard to download images from the app so not easy to do it by hand either.

Thanks for the sparks, Adam!
I love these three creative sparks Adam! All of them are on point.
Thank you!
Really enjoyed this Adam, particularly the archival vs ephemeral thought 💛
Thanks Emily! It’s so tempting to chase trend sometimes!
