I keep a sketchbook and then when it's full it goes on the stack. Every so often OI go through them. Thanks for reminding me, I think it's time again....
The notes app on my phone is where I collect and dump so many random ideas for things to draw, but also for everything else in life! I also have notebooks too. It’s organized chaos but I have everything down somewhere. I love notes 😂
I use a digital journaling app (Zinnia) to archive my favorite sketchbook pieces I want to revisit later. I take a picture of the sketchbook page and place it in my digital journal with notes for later.
You have helped me today. I have had 3 hand surgeries in a row and I am finally ready to return to my print making life after exploring collage work for the last approximately 18 months. I love the index card reminder - something I actually did when I was in grad school. I am glad to have found you at just the right time and I sincerely thank you!

So much information can be found in those sketchbooks!
I like the notecard idea! I love the idea of an analog box of handy ideas

I've been going through a similar metamorphosis.
