love the sketches - wondering what kind of pen are you using? I've been looking for a fountain pen with the ability to achieve the variety of marks and widths you've got here. Thanks!
Thanks so much! I've been reaching back to dip pens to try and get that real hand feeling in the marks and the thick/thins but they're hard to travel with, ha! I will check it out.
Sure thing! Just make sure to choose the bent nib option if you want to get that line variety!
That pen is so fun to draw with. I once lost it for a two days and ordered another one because I missed it so much. And of course, I found the original one the minute the newer one shipped. But I love having two of them, so it's all good!
They're lovely for journaling too. The second one was a bit scratchier at first, but it's smoothed out a bit. Still, so fun to draw with and a wonderfully varied line!
okay! Yes, that makes total sense with the way it's written there as an option. I appreciate the heads up. And I love materials like that, the ones you miss if they're misplaced or elsewhere.
I don’t have any pets so I’ll be drawing all Beth’s references
This was awesome Beth! Loved just watching and listening to you whilst doing some back stretches!
Thank you so much, Holly! Also for reminding me to stretch! 💕💕💕
It was so quick and yet so good!! Truly thought I would not managed to draw today; but thanks to you both I did!
Yay! I had so much fun making this video and am thrilled it got your hand and brain moving today! Well done! 👏😬
I just attempted Day 1 and it was sooo fun. Thank you, Beth (and Adam)! I need to keep going now. :)
So delightful

I've heard a lot of good things about this one too. https://a.co/d/buyGj50

I don’t have pets either, going to draw from Beth’s references 🤗
Exciting! I'd love to know what you think of the exercise, Gunja. 😊
Hooray! Can’t wait to do this! Great guest post, Beth.
Thanks, Jen! I had a splendid time scouting cats and dogs for this. 😺
PETS! I Really like these exercises! I hope I'll be able to paint along the whole week!

Yay! 👏😸 Do you have pets at home to draw too?
Not really. Had a kitten a few years ago. Now the closest are wild birds coming to visit on the balcony 💕
