Now, THiS could be most expensive week for the one who doesn’t drink coffee that often neither eat out that often! 😂 having said that I’ll try if I can do sketching in town centre but it’s freezing outside! 🥶 Am I making excuses or I just find it comforting to sketch from YouTube videos??? Lol 😝
That is such a kind offer, thank you! I hesitate to say yes though, because my home life is just too busy at the moment. I am struggling to find time for drawing at all although I’m encouraged to think that I could practice using YouTube, if I manage to try it I can let you know how I get on !
I love your suggestion to create a ‘cafe scene’ at home! I just don’t have time to visit a cafe each day so this is great! I have been wondering if there are other ways to practice drawing people in motion that I can squeeze into my day! Is drawing from the television or YouTube worthwhile?

I agree that this could be expensive both in time and money… but so is art school, maybe we could also think of it as luxurious:)
What do you fine good to sketch on YouTube? I was thinking of starting this myself!
If you’re up we can do that together on a zoom call, shall we find out what time works for both of us!? 🧐

Funny videos on YouTube are my go to sketching for people and sometime even animals sketching 😝
I really like this, Adam. Especially these two points:
1. Extracting the essence and the detail as separate things that are both fundamentally important to the task.
2. How constraints and restrictions are just as able to enhance things as abundance and unlimited possibility.
Thank you for sharing a valuable lesson!
I’m very excited to get started myself!

Kept me sane during lockdown:)
I might do a drawing from YouTube thing in the future, but this week is about getting the most out of a minimum setup
That would be really great! 👍
