I think that's a really good distinction to make between blog and newsletter. However, I always felt like Substack was more like a newsletter since they are supposed to be sent to your email. If you had an email list sign up at an event, would you add them to your substack then? Or to a separate newsletter through Mailchimp, smores, Constant Contact, etc?

Most people I see are combining their email list, but I think it’s subjective.

I agree with what you say about a blog, I do it here to build a library. And I could easily republish them to other platforms, but their real purpose is to be a seed that grows and is fruitful over and over again

This is a fantastic idea, Adam. An opt-in toggle otherwise it can slide by as online only.

One thing, I went to switch the toggle, to find it was already switched on... But I've not been getting those daily blog emails. I've switched the toggle off and on again, just in case it behaves like so many other tech support stuff! 😆
