Hi Adam 👋 I'm Teresa and I am not an illustrator 😄 just love to draw and experiment/play with different art materials! Although I don't make a living from my art journey (and honestly I don't have intention to change this), I am very curious about the world of illustration and love to read and learn more about it 😊 I found your Substack recently through Beth Spencer!

Hi, I’m Ine. I’m an illustrator and still fairly new to Substack, I share my travel illustrations in my newsletter... I signed up for your newsletter after I discovered it on the explore page about a month ago. Love your work and your posts here are full of great info! And you restacked one of my first newsletters, which helped me gain some of my first subscribers! I really appreciate that! I love how supportive people are here on Substack!

Hi. I am Karen. I’ve been a writer - mainly academic nonfiction - and an artist - mainly to please myself. Recently, a kid’s book came to me and I wrote it and illustrated it. Not accepted yet..... I am submitting just the text of it.

Anyhow, now I’m just trying to balance my art and my writing (back to nonfiction). Substack helps me with writing habits and there are infinite things to read.

Your substack is one that keeps my art side busy. So thanks!

I'm Beth Spencer! I signed up a few months ago because I enjoy Adam's unique style, art musings, and authenticity. He gives excellent advice generously because he cares about this community so much! I like all the ideas above!
