Upside down drawings using continuous line was a habit of mine for awhile. Really taught me to let go of outcome.

My mother recommended this to me about 20 yrs ago. When I tried it, I felt like I was sweating blood. My brain didn't want to let go of how it knew things should look. Today it wasn't as hard, but I still didn't get the proportions right, possibly because I was too aware of the time constraint and rushed it.

My gym instructor said you don’t come to the gym to build muscle, you come to break it, you sleep to build muscle later :) - might relate
