This week’s sketchbook project is to pick prompts from any of the 14 sketchbook projects from the year so far.
You can pick a week and redo all the prompts or pick a 7 prompts from the week from any project. Some of these challenges might be new to you, or you might want to try them again with fresh eyes and new understanding. Sometimes it’s fun choosing from a menu.
This week were sharing our work in a bumper-sized gallery as there will be work form 14 different projects! It’s a celebration of the work we’ve done so far!
Play your Greatest Hits
One lesson I’ve learned from
is to play your greatest hits.As artist it’s always tempting to move on to the next new and shiny thing. But sometimes it might be worthwhile to celebrate some of your past successes with your people.
This might mean reposting your most popular social media post, or using it as inspiration for something new. Or redoing a sketchbook challenge, just because you had a blast the first time!
Share your sketches in the April Showcase Gallery
(if you are doing this after April, it’s okay to share too, feel free to share existing or current work done as part of #TenMinuteArtist
