Do you ever find yourself approaching things the hard way before considering if there was an easy way. Having a vision of what easy looks like, can help you carve a more efficient path. Is there a challenging situation in your life or creative practice, ask this question and see if there are alternative paths. Let us know if you find one!
Andy Miller (Andy J. Pizza) suggest, then when we get stuck, we can consider our comfort zone. Now comfort zones tend to get a bad rap, but what if your comfort zone is actually your area of strength. What if talent is nothing more than tolerance? Some people have a tolerance for math equations? Or being in a pool 11 hours a day? Or going to the gym everyday? What do you have an infinite tolerance for, and how can you use that as a superpower?
Seth Godin called out internal dialogue, the stories we tell ourselves. Sometimes we get overly invested in our stories. Maybe we could think of the stories as hypothetical instead. Your story might tell you something is more difficult than in actually is, or that you don’t have any talent. Maybe. Or maybe you need to find out what’s true.
I collect these notes over the course of the week, and once a week I select a few, somehow there’s always a connection or thread between the selected notes, maybe it’s just what I’m paying attention to.

I've often feel that doing something the easy way is "cheating" or not impressive enough. I've realized that sometimes you're not ready to do something which is what makes it more difficult. Doing something that's easy doesn't mean it's difficult. Maybe it's means you're in your comfort zone and able to excel with your strengths.
This is a great one Adam. I love the approach of asking what if it I was easy and thinking about what I have an infinite tolerance for.
