Weekend Momentum
Recently I’ve moved it back posting sketchbook projects from Monday to the start of the weekend, to give people a head start and let them build some momentum.
And look at the amazing work that has come in just after one day!

Your Urban Sketching Tips Wanted!
Next week I’m going to go out of my comfort zone and try something I’ve never done before… URBAN SKETCHING, so I’m reaching out to you to share some of your experience.
What books or articles would you recommend?
What are mistakes you made at the beginning that should be avoided?
What questions do you have about urban sketching?
I’ve created a chat for paid subscribers to share their tips ans sketches to be included in the next sketchbook project.
If you’re not yet a paid subscriber you can share your tips and questions in the comments, I’m going to ask mine too!
Have a great weekend!
PS: Today an Oliver Jeffers book that has been made into a play is showing in town and I’m taking my little girl to go see it, we’re excited! (Tell you more next weekend)
Some beautiful birds there!
Some usk tips: take supplies that you are already comfortable with; don’t expect perfect sketches, but rather aim for sketches that will help you see and remember the place you are; if locals come to see what you are doing, ask them out about the place and maybe record some of it; have fun!
Liz Steel’s website and blog is full of inspiration and tips.
