When I was in art school 24 years ago I had a friend who would stand on a chair, to gain a new perspective.
It’s the kind of thing you do in art school.
In the world of an image you can do this too.
The surface of your image acts as a lens into the world you are depicting. And you can shift the lens to view your character from any angle.
TEN MINUTE ARTIST PROMPT
Two Perspectives
Draw a character in Birds Eye view,
Draw it again in Worms Eye view.
Here are some drawings from this month’s gallery, Share yours!
: I am working on some post card/stickers for Springy tea time, who said that you can drink tea only in A/W ? :) this is the side hustle of my children’s book illustration, I also work on collection for the adulthood market, and I like to swim on one and other side of this beautiful world that is Illustrating.
: Today I was thinking of a little mushroom spirit so I tried to draw its different emotions. When I do this kind of drawings I think I use my body but mainly I use my face, I can’t stop making faces while drawing expressions 🙈😅
: I’ve joined the Color Week challenge from here on Substack! This is pretty new to me, I’m not used to daily drawing or even sharing what I do.I’m really enjoying it and loving the spring colors she suggested!
Show them some love and share your own drawings in the chat!
Do you ever get stuck drawing things from the same perspective? Leave a comment!
If you know someone who could use some daily inspirations and encouragement, invite them to join us!

Awww thank you so much Adam for the feauture! Ten minutes art is so inspiring, so I'm very pleased about this. Thank you!
I don’t tend to get stuck because my perspective is so wonky that is never the same 😅 thanks Taiana for sharing Colour Week and Adam for mentioning it here!
