Quick, you better take one…
From Adam J. Kurtz’s 52 week planner called Unsolicited Advice.
I have books and decks of cards with prompts all over my house.
They are nice to have around, I use them to spark divergent thinking. An idea leads to many different ideas but it starts with the seed.
Today’s prompt is from a book called Unsolicited Advice by Adam J. Kurtz . It seems like it’s meant to be cut up and stuck at a bus stop, I think I will stick it up when it’s done.
This wasn’t a drawing prompt, but I was happy to spend by creative time doing this. The following page of this book encourages us to write lines, I think they are connected. You take a line from the ‘take one’ page, and you repeat it or write reminders, to help it stick.
I wrote it, with feeling!
Affirmations like these rewires your brain. Not everything in Adam’s book is an affirmation so perhaps you can create your own, ‘take one’ page. That is my unsolicited advice!
Create a ‘take one’ page as a work of art
Think of it as a fortune cookie without the cookie. Alternatively you can turn it into a things to draw list!
Remember to set a timer for 10 minutes and when it goes off you can stop if you want.
