P.S: Waiting Moves

Sometimes the right move is waiting.

So wrote a whole thing about the next moves and income streams as an illustrator but I wanted to add that sometimes, It might make sense to keep doing more of the same.

In Chess, there is this idea called a ‘waiting move’. And the idea is that sometimes you already have a good strategy and position on the board and a big move might actually weaken your position rather than strengthen it. At times like this, you want to try and make a waiting move.

This doesn’t mean doing nothing, but rather making a small incremental move without disturbing the existing structure of things. Here are some, “Waiting moves” I could make.

1. Focus on growing my TikTok to 1000 followers, allowing me to put a link in my bio. (I’m at 700+)
