I’ve written about everything I know about creating an illustration portfolio in the past.
This post is about what I’m doing after a couple of years of that portfolio working well for me. It’s maintenance time!
I can’t spend 5 hours a day working on my portfolio like I used to at the beginning
And I need to make updating a portfolio a part of my regular practice.
If you’re creating your first online portfolio I want you to know it’s a huge effort at the beginning, but once done it goes into more of a process of maintenance. And if you’re also in maintenance mode, I’m sharing how I’m thinking about it.
Maybe these ideas will be something you can use too and if so, feel free to borrow them, otherwise I hope this post will inspire to think about your own maintenance strategies.
