Welcome to: Sacred Time: Part 3/5 , this day one of a 5 day project where we explore our relationship to time and aim to set apart 10 minutes of quality time each day for a drawing habit.

This project is the first the first of 3 projects of “Start a daily drawing habit: a Gameplan”, go here for the full table of contents.

A note on the assignments: We’ll be doing more drawing today, I encourage you to use the template, we’re going for a cartoony big head and small body, then go crazy and loose with the hands, this will let you capture more ALIVENESS, which is the aim for the moment.

Okay Let’s go, welcome to day 3:

Take Time

Mindfulness gives you time.

Time gives you choices.

Choices skillfully made, lead to freedom

— Bhante Henepola Gunaratna

When someone says “I have all the time in the world”, they are obviously using hyperbole — but what they mean is that they are willing to spend this particular instance of their finite most precious resource to show up fully present.

There are times in our lives when we actually show up like we have all the time in the world — when we suspend any care for anything other than this present moment.

This Gameplam is now available to all paid subscribers of Ten Minute Artist.

I’ve temporarily reduced the annual subscription of the newsletter to $50, but the price will go back up to $100 in on September 1st.

Once you subscribe you will get access to

2 Gameplans:

  1. Start A Daily Drawing Habit (3 projects)

  2. Start Earning True Fans (3 projects)

I will personally guide you through these projects by sending you a quick reminder each day, but you can also take the projects at your own pace whenever you’re ready.

Paid subscribers also get a new Ten Minute Artist project each month, these will add novelty and momentum to your practice and serve as an on ramp if you ever fall off.

So if you want to save $50, start a daily drawing habit and become part of the Ten Minute Artist Community.

If you’re not ready to make the investment, I’ve created a free project called Ten Minute Visual Journal Method, it’s the best thing I could show you and it’s absolutely free for anyone.
