By force or by force of will the next step of the journey is Crossing the Threshold.
If you’re in a Roman Legion, this is landing on an island and burning your boats.This is the Death of uncle Ben in Spider-Man and the Death of Luke’s ‘parents’ in StarWars. Ordinary life is no longer possible.
For some it’s replacing a full-time job with a part time one, and forcing the art to make up the difference. Maybe it’s ending one relationship professional or personal so you can say yes to another.
Or it’s getting specific about what you offer, so it’s easier for the wrong people to say no to you and the right people to say yes!
When you cross the threshold the only available is forward.
