CARSON ELLIS IS ON SUBSTACK, cultivating this thing called slowpoke. The first issue is out and is formatted like a newspaper with various sections such as; ‘From the Editor’, ‘Home and Garden’ and ‘Arts and Entertainment’.

It’s got personal photographs, and drawings and recommendations of other writers and artist.

In the Home and Gardening section of the newsletter, Carson introduces herself as a gardener. Slowpoke feels like a garden; present in a complete form while growing. In a hurried world, Carson celebrates slowness as a virtue.
