Dear Artist Friend,
Here are 5 ways to fill an artist diary.
Write a Log
Draw a comic
Draw what’s there
Write what you feel
Use words and pictures interchangeably.
An artist diary is any book you set aside for regular creative play, I recommend 10 minutes a day. It’s not as intimidating as a sketchbook and it’s not as serious as a journal.
Also, Hallie Bateman wrote a cool post about “journuary” and making journal comics for a month.

Spend ten minutes, filling your artist diary with one of the ways suggested. Then make your own list of ways to fill an artist diary, start with these 5 and add as many as you can think off, credit sources.

I draw a comic almost everyday in my diary, about daily life. That's really fun and it helps keeping memories of good days. Thanks for the ideas !
