”Sketching is a way of getting in touch with my subconscious. It helps me to think without words… It’s as if I was digging for gold and suddenly hit a vein”

— Bernd Mölck-Tassel

I’m starting a sketchbook, again.

This time I didn’t buy a new sketchbook, I just searched for shelves for a sketchbook with more empty pages than full. Then I wrote down my reasons for starting again. I’ll return to this page whenever I forget my reasons for drawing.

The question we often start with is what to draw.

A better question is why draw in a sketchbook at all.
