111: Inspiration to Invention

Here’s an alternative to the blank page, a little template the help you work up to something creative even if you don’t feel very creative…

You start be writing down four words, choose from here if you’re stuck.

Shape, face, object, person, animal, plant, fish, flower, texture, mask

Then you draw an image for each word, I suggest you use reference for these images, you can draw what you see or simplify.

Finally, use the inspiration images to create a unique image, mix and match, play with scale. In the end you could get a simple sketch or a complete illustration!
