Drawing Prompt: Draw a Banana
If you want to get good at drawing, sooner or later you will have to get good at drawing shapes, and that leads to drawing 3d shapes. The most useful of 3D shapes is a cylinder. A Banana is an organically shaped cylinder, you should draw a banana, it will help you get good at drawing.
This is my Filtration Process
Morning pages, capture thoughts in my head, it’s sand for the sand box.
Some of those thoughts might become actions for the day, week, or just put into a backlog for later.
Some of those thoughts become bullet notes in my journal.
Some of those notes get copied or refined onto note cards.
When it’s time to make something, often times these notecards are the starting point.
The trick to making good work, is making a lot of work and only showing the good ones.
