Happy Monday. I’ll tell you a true story.
A few years ago I was so caught up in my VC funded start up. I actually forgot I was an artist. I was rushing from board meeting to product meeting, hiring and firing people, and travelling around the world trying to raise money and sell our product.
I was in Singapore to visit my sister, when I bough a book 365 days of drawing by Lorna Scoobie. I did the prompts in the book for 40 days in a row, and that built the habit in me to do some drawing daily.
It was the spark, that set me to find my way back to doing what I’m meant to do… i.e make art. I didn’t need anymore prompts after 40 days I was drawing freely every day.
Today I’m represented by the same agency as Lorna Scobie. It’s quite mind blowing.

You could also become a paid subscriber and get 7 new prompts from me every Monday.
